Obituary of Andrew C. Emilio

U. S. Army Air Force Veteran Andrew C. Emilio, age 85, of Stratford, a retired quality control inspector for Sikorsky Aircraft, died on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Pozzallo, Italy on August 8, 1920, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Giovanna Frasca Emilio. A U. S. Army Air Force Veteran of World War II, Mr. Emilio enjoyed gardening, fishing and photography. Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Angelina Bonsignore Emilio, a son, Sal Emilio and his wife, Ronnie of Shelton, two sisters, Josephine Denaro of Maryland and Lee Kost of Florida, two grandchildren, Andrew Emilio of Charlotte, NC and Samantha Emilio of Shelton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
