Obituary of Adeline Vazzano

Adeline (Addie) LaChioma Vazzano, age 88, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Maefair Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Orlando C. Vazzano. Born in Bridgeport on January 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Susan LaConte LaChioma, and was a Trumbull resident for many years. Mrs. Vazzano was a longtime member of the Mill River Country Club. Survivors include her loving children, Thomas Vazzano (Lori) of Milford, Donna Martin (Ken), Lori Foote, John Vazzano (Heidi) and Chris Vazzano (Kellie), all of Trumbull, 15 cherished grandchildren, Stacy Lawrence-Hurwitz (Bernard), Amanda Mioline (Michael), Matthew Vazzano, Kenneth Martin, Jr (Ailis), Lee and Douglas Martin, Raymond Foote Jr, Denis and Nicholas Foote, John, Alex and Rick Vazzano, Jordan, Troy and Susan Vazzano, nine great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Louise LaChioma of Trumbull, two favorite cousins, Anthony and Lita and her best friend, Marie Pinto as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Vazzano Lawrence, a brother, John LaChioma and her grandson, Thomas Vazzano. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks the staff and caregivers at Maefair Health Care Center for all the care and compassion they provided. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
