Obituary of Balram D. Sethi

Balram D. Sethi, age 73, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Gurminder Walia Sethi, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 08, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in India on July 17, 1942, he was a son of the late Muk Raj Sethi and Shanti Devi Sethi. Balram earned his Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California. He will always be remembered as a hardworking and loving man who was always there to support his family in any way needed. He had a great sense of humor and left an impression on everyone he came across; Balram was always willing to help someone in need and would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his beloved wife of 36 years, Gurminder, survivors include two loving sons, Rajiv Sethi of Bridgeport and Deepak Sethi of New York City, a sister Asha Arora of California, brother-in-law, Harminder Singh and sister-in-law, Yasmin Azar; as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. All other services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
