Obituary of Carol F. Hoffman

Resident of New Milford Carol Faris Hoffman, age 62, of New Milford, a former radiology technician at Norwalk Hospital with 39 years of service, died at her residence on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport on December 16, 1943, she was the daughter of Nicholas Faris of Trumbull and the late Isabelle Pietrantonio Faris. A Monroe resident for 21 years, before moving to New Milford last year, she enjoyed arts and crafts, painting and making folk art. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Joseph A. Hoffman, a son, Matthew J. Hoffman of New Milford, a brother, Alan Faris and his wife, Patricia of Glenwood, New Jersey and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 8:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe for a reading of the Liturgy of the Word. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
