Tim and Family, I always enjoyed my visits to NE. Your Dad was a true patriot and always supported us extremely well. I remember the many discussions in the "Bear's Den" conference room that we would have, after a long day of you all helping us solve our "world" issues. Your Dad always had the most informative and wise proposals or direction we could take. I will truly miss him. I will give my salutations to him when I have a couple of cold ones this weekend. God bless him and your family.

Armand was a truly great man, my padrone and compatriot over the 30 years I worked at Platt Tech. Officially know as the Godfather and guardian angel of our school, Armand served as Chairman of the Citizens Advisory Council from Platt’s inception through 2011. Always our strongest supporter, he was a consistent presence, advisor, community conduit and cheerleader for anything that improved the life of our students. Armand walked his talk every day, taking pride in Platt’s accomplishments and always there when we needed him… without question or fanfare. Probably his proudest moment came in 2008, when Platt was recognized and awarded Vanguard status as one of Connecticut’s highest performing schools; the only State Technical High School ever to receive that honor. And he had a hand in it all, start to finish. I mourn his loss and grieve along with his heartbroken family. The truest measure of a life well-lived resides in the ability to touch the lives of others. By that yardstick Armand Cantafio led an amazing life. Rest in God’s peace my dear friend.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Armand passing. Even though we all know it will happen. I met Armand through Karen and Jim. He always had a kind hello for my wife and I everytime we came to a function in CT. from the very first time at Karen and Jim's first house in Shelton. A real man who I think treated everyone with respect. God has a new Angel. Rest In Peace. You will be truly missed.

When I first met Armand he told me he was a Vet. I remember asking him if he was service connected and he said no Larry let’s give the needed service to other Vets who need it more than I. A True kind soul that I always looked for at the Annual Feehan Christmas parties. Will miss your smiling face my friend . Love Larry and Nia

Armond was a legend . His kindness, generosity and wisdom were ever present. He had a great dedication to his family, friends and community.. He had the calm demeanor and pleasant smile that would comfort in difficult times and the wisdom to advise and support when needed. Armond has given generously to his community and supported the needy . His charities include the Connecticut Burns Foundation, The Connecticut Burn Care Center and the Children Burn Camp that he supported generously. We will miss Armond dearly and wish B, his family and many friends comfort in his memory. Ulla and Nabil Atweh
