Obituary of William A. Duenges
William "Bill" A. Duenges, age 54, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Bill was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Lombardi) Duenges, whom loved him dearly. Born in Bridgeport on January 9, 1971, he was a son of Angelina (Cicalo) Duenges and the late George Duenges and was a longtime Trumbull resident.
Bill graduated from Sacred Heart University. He was employed at Aircastle Advisor LLC of Stamford with over 20 years of dedicated service and was currently serving as their Chief Information Officer. He was well respected by his peers and always felt the company was a second family to him. Bill enjoyed reading and being up to date on the latest technology, a true passion of his. He was extremely intelligent, always striving to continue his education, making it a priority to keep growing despite what was thrown at him. More than anything, he was brave, showing the importance of strength and resilience until his very last breath, and thanking his struggles for teaching him how to live carelessly and love freely. He was an inspiration to all. He was always up for anything with Jackie, whether it be a night out to dinner, taking a long drive, a day trip, a vacation, or simply grocery shopping. He considered her the best thing to ever happen to him. Above all, his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his two children. He was a devoted husband, son, and father and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Words could not begin to describe how amazing of a human he was, and it will leave a deep void in our lives. He was as close to perfect as they come.
In addition to his beloved wife Jackie of 30 years, survivors include his two children who adored him, Jake William Duenges, and Katie Lynn Duenges. He is also survived by his mother, Angie Duenges, sister-in-laws, Linda Vincent and her husband Fred, Anna Psaras and her husband Ben, and Angela Lombardi. Included are his half-siblings, Mary Serke, Josie Lupo, and George Duenges. Also, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his two canine "children" Cody and Carly, forever cherish his memory.
As he always said, "You never know what someone is going through, so always be kind".
Friends and relatives may greet the family on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with a prayer service to be held at 1:30 p.m.
