Obituary of RoseMarie Davis

RoseMarie Davis, age 62, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on October 26, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Douglas John (2016) and Rose Vivolo Davis (1994).

Rose loved all animals, especially dogs. She loved classic rock and roll music and a trip to the casino. She never was one to pass up dessert, especially mint chocolate chip ice cream, which she had on the eve of her departure from this earth. Rose was a tough cookie to crumble, but deep in her heart she had love for all. Our wish for her is that she finds peace and unites with all who have gone before her.

Survivors include her two loving sisters Donna Davis and Diana Ruggiero, her three loving nephews, David, Douglas and Robert Whipple, and niece, Juliana Ruggiero and great nephew, Jacob. Rose also leaves behind a loving Aunt and Uncle, Laura and Michael Bradley-Norris, their son Dustin Bradley and family. They helped Rose in many ways and I know she appreciated all you did for her, also many family members and high school friends that she reconnected with on social media.

In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her twin brother, Douglas J. Davis II (2004) and her brother-in-law, Louis P. Ruggiero Jr. (2019), her Aunt and Uncle, Jean and Joseph Turiano as well as her two special dogs that gave her such unconditional love, support and joy, Somer and Casey Marie.

A Graveside service will take place with Rev. Milan Dimic on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 am directly in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull.
