Obituary of Lisa Marie Peslak

Lisa Marie Fiorito Peslak, age 64, of Oxford, beloved wife of Scott J. Peslak, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on November 22, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Glenice French Fiorito. Lisa was a retired banking manager, having worked for Ion Bank and also the former Peoples Bank for many years.

Lisa loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She hosted many holidays and celebrations. Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve were always especially festive and showcased her Michelin grade cooking. She meticulously labored over elaborate dishes like her stuffed shrimp. The memories that were created will forever live in their hearts. Lisa was also an avid animal lover and advocate. She supported local Humane Societies and adopted numerous feline companions. It was incredibly evident that Lisa's love and compassion extended to all members of her family.

In addition to her beloved husband of 20 years, Scott, survivors include her two sisters, Tina Tavano and her husband Tony and Lynetta O'Brien, father-in-law, Ted Peslak, sister-in-law, Jill Russo and her husband Michael, uncle, Robert Sherwood and his wife Sarri, cousins, Kim Rioux and her husband Roy and Deborah Petro, nieces, Jamie Auburn and Hailey and Courtney Russo, nephew Joe Auburn, great niece and nephew, Ruby and Max, as well as many cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Michael Fiorito and her mother-in-law, Sandra Peslak.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather to honor Lisa's memory on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
