Obituary of Betty Gemio

Betty Gemio Roman, age 83, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Born on June 29, 1942 in La Paz, Bolivia, she was a daughter of the late Zacarias Gemio and Filomena Roman de Gemio.

Survivors include her two loving children, a son, Boris Jhillmar Lucana and his wife Ximena, and Valia L. Ciochine and her husband John, a cherished and adored granddaughter, Anaya Lucana, a brother, Sixto Jemio and his wife Martha, a sister-in-law, Elva Jemio, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Mario Jemio.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull CT 06611. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Mary Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT 06830.
