Obituary of Lucy P. Napolitano
Resident of Bridgeport
Lucy DeStefano Napolitano, age 87, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Philip Napolitano Sr., died peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Carolton Chronic Convalescent Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on June 28, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Philomena Riccio DeStefano. A lifelong Bridgeport resident she was a retired employee of Bridgeport Brass and Remington Arms. Mrs. Napolitano was devoted and loved her family; she took pride in attending and supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren at their sporting events and activities. She was predeceased by two brothers, Patsy and Frank DeStefano. Survivors include two loving children, Philip Napolitano Jr., and his wife Inez of Shelton and Linda Lou Napolitano of Bridgeport, two cherished grandchildren, Philip Napolitano III and Michelle Morales and her husband Orlando, two great grandchildren Orlando and William, a sister Carmella Dailey and her husband Jack of Stratford as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information
