Obituary of John M. Orman PhD

Professor of Politics at Fairfield University John Orman, PhD, age 60, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009. He was a Professor of Politics at Fairfield University for 31 years. He loved politics, rock music, basketball, people, ballroom dancing and political comedy. He was a beloved husband, father, colleague and friend and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Irene (Reenie) Demkiw, children Natalie Litman, Kate Demkiw-Orman and Nicholas Demkiw-Orman, son-in-law Craig Litman, father Robert Orman, mother Betty Orman, sister Jane Orman, brother Jim Orman, brother-in-law Matt Magallanees and nephew Miles Orman Magallanees. Funeral Information A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola at Fairfield University, North Benson Road, Fairfield and a funeral service at St. Marys Ukrainian Catholic Church, 255 Barnum Ave., Bridgeport on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Donations Information In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Nicholas E.
