Obituary of Alfonso J. Pascarella

Alfonso J. Pascarella, age 88, of Trumbull, a retired accountant for Jim Bargas Construction, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Maefair Health Care Center. Born in Lewis Run, PA on June 25, 1922, he was a son of the late Anthony and Rosina Rose Pascarella. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the 95th Infantry. He was a member of the American Legion Post #141 and a past member of the St. Theresa Mens Bowling League. Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Frances Longo Pascarella, two loving children, James Pascarella and his wife Janis of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Linda Pascarella Gallo of Shelton, five cherished grandchildren, James Pascarella, Francis Gallo III, Stephanie Pascarella, Bert Pascarella, and Lindsay Gallo, two great grandchildren, Tyler and Violet as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son-in-law, Francis Gallo Jr., a daughter-in-law, Donna Lawler Pascarella, a sister, Ann Antoci and two brothers, Anthony and Donald Pascarella.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sheikh M. Yousuf Ali, and the staff at Maefair Health Care Center for their kindness and compassionate care. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m
