Obituary of Angelo Paternoster

U. S. Air Force Veteran Angelo Paternoster, age 50, of Bridgeport, died peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Bridgeport Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 9, 1959, he was a son of William Sr. and Eleanor Cavalli Paternoster of Bridgeport. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Angelo was a graduate of Central High School and also attended Norwalk Community College. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed playing all sports, especially hockey and baseball. Angelo was a strong willed, loving person who throughout his life never complained. He always enjoyed everyday and took what life had given him. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will be deeply missed. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Stephen Paternoster and his grandparents, Ralph and Lydia Paternoster and Angelo Cavalli. In addition to his parents Bill and Eleanor, survivors include a brother, William Paternoster Jr. of Bridgeport, a sister, Janine Carrano of Derby, two nephews and a niece, Stephen and Owen Paternoster and Jacquelyn Carrano, maternal grandmother Carmela Cavalli as well as several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Funeral Information All funeral services were held privately. Burial with military honors took place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
