Obituary of Jean Porcelli

Jennie (Jean) DAriano Porcelli, age 89, of Shelton, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on December 14, 1915, she moved to New York in 1925 where she resided and worked as a seamstress for over 50 years. Jennie moved to Shelton with her son in 1997. She was the widow of Carmello Porcelli.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Porcelli and his wife Laura of Shelton, three grandchildren, Lisa, Douglas and Thomas, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Milito and Ann Totino, a brother, Nick DAriano and nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday , December 21, 2004 in St. Jude Church, Monroe. Interment will follow in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
