Obituary of Joan Puccio

Joan Antonaccio Puccio, age 98, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph who died January 17, 1995 They were married for 59 years. Joan was born on August 29, 1913, the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Mosca Antonaccio in Derby, CT. She lived most of her life in Bridgeport and Trumbull before moving to Florida after retiring from the Vitramon Corp. She moved back to Trumbull after the death of her husband. Joan had an adventurous nature and traveled widely in Europe and the Far East. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and card playing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joan is survived by her daughters, Beverly McLaughlin and her husband Thomas of Naples, Florida and Joanne Cross and her husband Peter of Skaneateles, NY and Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Connolly and her husband Thomas of North Brunswick, NJ, her grandson, T. J. McLaughlin and his wife Joanne of Fort Washington, PA, her grandson, Todd McColgin of West Palm Beach, FL and her granddaughter, Jennifer Sierzega of Winter Garden, Florida and four great grandchildren, Matthew and Caroline Connolly of North Brunswick, NJ and Thomas and Noah McLaughlin of Fort Washington, PA. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
