Obituary of Lucy Quaranta
Lucy Milowski Quaranta, age 83, of Murrells Inlet, SC, beloved wife of the late Anthony Carl Quaranta, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on September 18, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Ogrodnik Milowski and attended Harding High School. A longtime Bridgeport resident, she moved to South Carolina in 1986. Mrs. Quaranta was a very thoughtful and organized person who had a great sense of humor. She was known for always sending greeting cards for family friends and never forgot an event. Survivors include her four children, Frank Quaranta and his wife Rosemarie of Fairfield, Tony Quaranta Jr. and Kathleen Palmesi of West Haven, Donna LaCivita and her husband Lou of Trumbull and Tom Quaranta and his wife Diane of Fairfield, five grandchildren, Michele Lindsay and her husband Scott, David Quaranta and his wife Jeanne, Daniel LaCivita and his wife Jen, Lucia LaCivita and Dragen Lesko, three great grandchildren, Grace and Alexandra Lindsay and Eli LaCivita, a brother, Chet Milo of Maine, two sisters, Bertha Hartman and her husband Larry of PA and Mila Burns of Bridgeport, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Genevieve Steiz and Stephanie Norko and two brothers, Stanley and Edward Milowski. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Donations Information
