Obituary of John J. Rosa

John J. Rosa, age 77, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Vincents Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn Olivieri Rosa. Born in New Rochelle, NY, on January 29, 1936, he was the son of the late James V. and Julia Girardi Rosa. A U.S. Navy Veteran, John had worked as a Computer Engineer for the Hubbell Company with 40 years of dedicated service before his retirement. In addition to his beloved wife Evelyn of 50 years, other survivors include his daughter, Donna M. Rosa-Susek and her husband David of MO, a son, James V. Rosa of Shelton and six cherished grandchildren, Deanna, Dayna and Dawn Susek and John, Anthony and Jennifer Rosa. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Laurie Rosa. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly at St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St, Bridgeport on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
