Obituary of Linda Garasimowicz

Linda Duarte Garasimowicz, age 78, of Trumbull, the retired bookkeeper for the Atomic Tool Co., died on Friday, October 15, 2004 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Sousa Duarte, and was a Trumbull resident over 35 years. Mrs. Garasimowicz was a member of the Ladies Guild of St. Catherine of Siena Church, and a past member of the Columbiettes and the Pinewood Lake Association.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, John D. Garasimowicz Sr., five daughters, Christine Linda Forde and her husband Andrew Allan Forde of Hudson, OH, Mariane C. Benetti and her husband Michael A. Benetti of Alpharetta, GA, Teresa Lynch and her husband Raymond P. Lynch Jr. of Seymour, Lisa Reverri and her husband Gerard of Cary, NC, and Linda Ann Provost and her husband John E. Provost Jr. of Derby, two sons, John D. Garasimowicz Jr and his wife Shauna of Oxford and Paul C. Garasimowicz, and his wife Katherine April of Seymour, two brothers, Manuel Duarte of Summerfield, FL and Charles Duarte of Woodbury, a sister, Hilda Wade of Canton, Michigan, 15 grandchildren, a great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Mary Milbrandt, Agnes Cybul, Theresa Donnelly and Florence Plavcan. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 9 A.M. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 A.M. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
