Obituary of Clara C. Rummo

Resident of Bridgeport Clara C. Rummo, age 93, of Bridgeport, died on Friday, May 8, 2009 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 21, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Rosina DiStasio Rummo. A retired employee of General Electric, she was also a member of the Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. She was pre-deceased by a brother Leonard Rummo and a sister Theresa Rovegno. Survivors include her brother Anthony Rummo of Bridgeport, a brother-in-law Louis Rovegno of Oxford, sister-in-law Filomena Rummo of Stratford, nieces and nephews, Donna Yasick and her husband Joe of Woodbridge, Barbara Harris and her husband Arthur of Oxford, Leonard Rummo and his wife Lucille of Stratford and Renae Rummo of East Haven, three great nieces, Kami, Gina and Nina as well as a great great niece and nephew. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
