Obituary of Richard L. Savo

Resident of Trumbull Richard L. Savo, age 70, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Joanne Sanosky Savo, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on September 21, 1942, he was a son of Rose Vietri Savo of Seymour and the late Chester Savo. Mr. Savo was proud to be a member of the National Guard and a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at Christ the King Church in Trumbull. He was an accountant with Hall House of Bridgeport for over 10 years. He was a member of the Park City Pride, the Connecticut Hurricanes and the St. Raphael Buccaneers. In addition to Joanne, his wife of 48 years and his mother, Rose, survivors include three children, Kristine Faillace and her husband John of Greenwich, Richard J. Savo of Trumbull and Danielle Costello and her husband Domenic of Trumbull, a brother, Michael Savo and his wife Sharon of Milford, a sister, Elaine Reynolds and her husband John of Seymour, three grandchildren, Alexandria, Taylor and Domenic as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
