Obituary of Patricia E. Gatens

Patricia Michaels Gatens, age 76, of Fairfield, formerly of Union City, NJ beloved wife of the late Frank Gatens, died on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at her residence. Born in New York, New York on June 17, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Emma Michaels. Mrs. Gatens was an employee of A & P Supermarkets for many years before her retirement. She had a love for nature, enjoyed tending to her plants and could often be found crafting. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends who loved and cared for her very much. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen DAmico and her husband Carmen of Fairfield and Frances Phillips and her husband Robert of San Antonio, TX, a brother, Thomas Innamarato of Lynhurst, Long Island, NY, five grandchildren, Walter Phillips and his wife Sabrina, Harry Phillips and Brianna Phillips, Grace DAmico and Rose DAmico, two great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Michael, Robert and George Michaels and Anthony Innamarato. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport.
