Obituary of Josephine Mainiero Semon

Loving Mother & Grandmother Josephine B. Mainiero Semon, age 92, wife of 49 years to the late Michael Semon, died on Friday December 11, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on March 5, 1917 she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Faith Petrucelli Maniero. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Mrs. Semon was a seamstress for the Parision Garment Company and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Survivors include her three devoted daughters, Joanne DeLucia of Monroe, Carole Waterbury of Shelton, and Donna Tadduni of Shelton, seven loving grandchildren, Anthony Puglio, Dana Beaty and her husband Charles, Brian Waterbury and his wife Jennifer, Darrin Waterbury and his wife Michelle, Michael Tadduni and his wife Tammy, Mark Tadduni and his wife Aimea, and Christopher Tadduni and his wife Denise, 10 cherished great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, William Seaman and his wife Antoinette of RI, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
