Obituary of Edward W. Smith

Owner and Operator of Peter Pan Pizza of Milford Edward W. Smith, age 69, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Priscilla (Pat) Houle Smith, died peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2010 in his home surrounded by family. Born in Bridgeport on November 17, 1940, he was a son of the late Floyd and Mildred Canty Smith. Edward was the proud owner and operator of Peter Pan Pizza of Milford for 13 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all. He was predeceased by a brother Raymond and two great grandchildren. In addition to his beloved wife of 38 years, Pat, survivors include three children, Dianne Budzinski-Walton of NC, Elizabeth Iannicelli and her husband Joseph of FL, and Christopher Smith and his wife Cara of Stratford, a brother Charles Smith and his wife Martha of FL, an aunt, Hazel Berger of Newtown, 10 cherished grandchildren, 5 adored great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of the Vitas Hospice for all their devoted care during Edwards time of need. Funeral Information Prayer services will take place on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
