Obituary of Millicent J. Sota

Resident of Stratford Millicent Jean (Noel) Sota, age 77, of Stratford, died peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2008 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on January 12, 1931, to the late Raymond and Florence (Larkin) Noel and she was a Lordship resident for over 50 years. She enjoyed bus trips to the casino and spending time with her friends at the seawall in Lordship. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren with whom she enjoyed spending much of her time at school and sports activities. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 55 years, James Sota, two loving children, James R. Sota and his wife Mary of Stratford and Linda Meraviglia and her husband Brian of Stratford, her four cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Gerbino and her husband Joseph, James J. Sota and fiancee, Jill Purciello, Nicole Noel Meraviglia and Melissa Jean Meraviglia, a great granddaughter, Isabella Maria Gerbino, a sister, Ruth Bartha of Milford and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Raymond Noel. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
