Obituary of Domingos T. Branco

Domingos T. Branco, age 71, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Adilia Pires Branco, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in St. Vincents Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Vila Pouca, De Aguira, Portugal on July 16, 1942, he was a son of the late Manuel and Enucia Teixeira Branco. He came to U. S. with his wife in 1980, settling in Bridgeport. He worked for Grosso Paving and Construction for many years and was a member of the Vasco de Gama Club in Bridgeport. He was a hard working family man who enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandson. In addition to Adilia, his loving wife of 51 years, survivors include three devoted daughters, Aurora Ramos of Bridgeport, Paula Barreira and her husband Joaquim of Monroe and Adelaide Branco of Bridgeport, six cherished grandchildren, Ricardo Ramos, Vanessa Verissimo and her husband Fabricio Almeida, Jessica Ramos, Michael Garrity Jr., Alexis Albuquerque and Brandon Barreira, an adored great grandson, Alex Ramos as well as several nieces and nephews and many family members in Portugal. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
