Obituary of Catherine Tagliaferi

Catherine Kay Rozmeski Tagliaferi, age 79, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Peter M. Tagliaferi, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on January 15, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Esposito Rozmeski. Before her retirement, Kay was a secretary with the former Textron Lycoming for over 10 years. She enjoyed bowling and was a sports fanatic who thoroughly enjoyed watching the New York Yankees. Survivors include her longtime companion, Jack OLeary of Stratford, her loving children, Deborah A. Resto and her husband George of Bridgeport, Norma Hughes and her husband Frank of Fairfield, Peter Tagliaferi of Trumbull, and Robert Tagliaferi of Bridgeport, a sister, Marie Siano and her husband Michael of Norwalk, eight grandchildren, George and Trisha Resto, Jennifer Goulet, Christine and Robert Anthony, Frank Hughes, Jaclyn Hughes and her fiance Stephen Mazza and Gabrielle Tagliaferi, sisters-in-law, Lil Rozmeski of FL and Norma Oligino of Trumbull. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was pre-deceased by a daughter, Elaine Tagliaferi, and brothers, Paul, John and Joe Rozmeski. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:0010:00 a.m.
