Obituary of Mary Tarinelli

Resident of Tampa, Florida Mary Zerrelly Tarinelli died lovingly surrounded by her family in her home in Tampa, Florida on Monday, March 31, 2008 at age 99. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 12, 1909. Her family moved to Stratford, Connecticut in 1911 and she resided in Bridgeport until 1993 when she moved to Tampa to join her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ernie Lisi. She is the beloved mother of Charles Tarinelli, Judy Lisi and Arlene Greene, and grandmother of Rachel Lisi, Joel Lisi, Trueson Tarinelli, married to Robyn Tarinelli, Sierra Magdalena, Haley Tarinelli, Bryan Greene, Kevin Greene, Barry Greene and Laurie Stubbs, married to Timothy Stubbs. She had six great grandchildren, Ezekiel Faust, Emily Tarinelli, Sarah Tarinelli, Katie Tarinelli, Kyle Stubbs and Ryan Stubbs, and was the beloved mother-in-law to Linda Tarinelli, Ernie Lisi and Richard Greene. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Margaret Tassinary, Elsie Monaco, and Emma Haworth and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Joseph Tarinelli, her brother Peter Zerelly and her sister Olympia Haray. She was an active member of both Holy Rosary and St. Charles Parishes for many years. She lived a life of total service to her family, friends and community and brought cheer and joy to everyone she encountered. She was an avid reader, wonderful cook, master of many handicrafts and loved travel and the arts. Her family would like to acknowledge the support and comfort provided by LifePath Hospice. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
