Obituary of Gina Barros Teixeira

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother Gina Barros Teixeira age 63, of Florida and formerly of Naugatuck, loving wife of Albino Teixeira, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2013 in Florida surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 7, 1950 in Padroso, Montalegre Portugal, she was a daughter of Arminda Branco Barros of Fairfield and the late Antonio Barros. Gina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, and was always dedicated to the love and care of her family. She truly was at her happiest when she was with her entire family, especially her grandchildren. In addition her loving husband Albino and her mother, survivors include three loving children, Tina Drongeson and her husband Leland, Joyce Teixeira and Albino Teixeira Sr. and his fiance Simone; four adored grandchildren Leland, Dylan, Tyler and Bino Jr. She also leaves to cherish her memory a devoted sister Maria Moreno and her husband John of Fairfield, and a brother Raul Barros of Beacon Falls, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport. All other services took place in Florida.
