Obituary of Caroline C. Topo

Resident of Monroe Caroline Zumbo Topo, age 88, beloved wife of 68 years to Louis J. Topo of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on December 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Zinnotti Zumbo. In addition to her husband Louis, survivors include her loving children, Jo-Ellen Grabowski and her husband Anthony of Monroe; Robert Topo and his wife Christine of Austin, TX; and Dennis Topo and his wife Kathy of Milford. She is also survived by siblings, Francis Ginicola, Antoinette DeStefano, Angeline Petrillo, Anne Sierdy, Theresa Silva, Grace Arocho, and Ralph Gagliardi; thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Caroline was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Outlaw, and siblings Joseph Zumbo, Leonard Zumbo, Frank Zumbo, Catherine Piccirillo, and Nicholas Gagliardi. Funeral Information Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 3:00 5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
