Obituary of Rose J. Turiano

Former Trumbull Resident TURIANO Rose DeLucia Turiano, age 85, formerly of Trumbull and Southbury, a retired dental assistant, died on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Masonic Health Care Center, Wallingford. Born in Bridgeport, on April 28, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Anzini DeLucia. She was the widow of George Turiano and was pre-deceased by a sister, Daisy Scaduto. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Carole Ann Castagna and her husband Vincent of East Haven, a brother, Santo DeLucia of Virginia, a sister, Angela Sgarlata and her husband Ralph of Fredericksburg, VA, brother in law Frank Scaduto of Bridgeport, two grandchildren, Jill Greer, Paige Nash and her husband Jim, three great grandchildren, Megan, Ryan and D.J. Greer, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 498 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
