Obituary of Mario A. Verrilli

Mario A. Verrilli, age 94, of Bridgeport, died on Monday, October 17, 2005 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport on September 5, 1911, he was a son of the late John and Carmella DelColle Verrilli. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Anna J. Rappa Verrilli, two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Verrilli and a sister, Theresa Tartaglia. Survivors include three children, Annette Gaboury and her husband, Bert of Bridgeport, Daniel Verrilli and his wife, Maureen of Shelton and Donna Shedlock and her husband, George of Bridgeport, two brothers, Daniel Verrilli of Stratford and Louis Verrilli of Bridgeport, two sisters, Rose Angiolillo of Florida and Millie Benedetto of Stratford, six grandchildren, Mario Gaboury and his wife, Kelly of Old Saybrook, Robert Gaboury, Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Wallingford, Lorette Massa and her husband, Rich of Fairfield, Rick Gaboury and his wife, Bonnie of Guilford, Michael Verrilli and his wife, Melissa of Naugatuck and Sandra Pniewski and her husband, Robert of Oxford, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friend and physician, Dr. Harold Doherty. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
