Obituary of Isaura Vieira Vitorino

Loving Mother and Grandmother Isaura Vieira Vitorino, age 90, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Antonio Vitorino, died peacefully on Sunday October 14, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 25, 1922 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island she was a daughter of the late Francisco Vieira and Ana Amaro. She was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to the care of her family. She will truly be deeply missed. Survivors include her loving daughter, Ana Pires and her husband Antonio of Trumbull, a cherished grandson Michael Pires and his fiancee Nancy Afonso of Trumbull, a sister, Maria Martins of Bridgeport, brother-in-law Manuel Dias of Trumbull and two sisters-in-law, Linda Vieira of Trumbull and Ermelinda Vitorino of Portugal, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Antonio and Julio Vieira. The family would like to thank the staff of Connecticut Hospice, especially Melanie and Irene, for their professionalism and care during Isauras time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will place on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
