Obituary of Bruce R. Waugh

Fairfield Resident WAUGH- Bruce Randolph Waugh, age 54, of Fairfield, died suddenly at Norwalk Hospital on Friday, September 1, 2006. He was the beloved husband of 28 years to Pamela Martin Waugh and devoted father to Hillary Anne Waugh. Born in Brookline, MA on September 8, 1951, he was the son of the late Donald R. Waugh, Sr. and Lorraine Waugh Banghart. He graduated from St. Marks School in Southborough, MA and attended Boston University. He was employed at MBI, Inc. in Norwalk for 28 years. An avid Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys fan, he also enjoyed managing a team in the Norwalk Softball League. He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Trumbull, where he served as a vestryman and on the altar. In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by a half-brother and sister, as well as his mother-in-law, Audrey Martin, and father-in-law, William Martin, Jr.; his wifes three brothers, Peter, William, and Kyle Martin, and sister, Deidre Sommerer; as well as their spouses and children. He had a large extended family that cared for him deeply. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. in The Trinity Episcopal Church, 1734 Huntington Tpke, Trumbull, CT 06611. Committal will be private.
