Obituary of Anna M. Weller

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Anna Marie Varvella Weller, age 70, of Bridgeport, a retired accounts payable supervisor for Bridgeport Hospital, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on September 13, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Antoinette Ida LaRocco Varvella. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Mrs. Weller was an honorary member of the Germania Schwaben Club. She was pre-deceased by her husband Eugene Gerald Weller Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Christine Arsenault and her husband Roger of Bridgeport, two sons, Norman Weller and his wife Sherrie of Trumbull and Eugene Gerald Weller Jr. and his wife Diane of Cheshire, two brothers, Louis Varvella Sr. and Al Butchy Varvella, a sister Lois DiLella and her husband Bill, all of Stratford, seven cherished grandchildren, Melissa, Devin and his wife Trish, Brianna, Stephanie, Kaylin, Austin and Faith, a great grandson, Zak and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ Church, 2000 Main St., Stratford. Entombment will follow in the Pilgrimage Mausoleum of Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
