Obituary of Rose Marie P. Wright

August 24, 2007 Bridgeport Resident Rose Marie Phyllis Aiello Wright, age 74, of Bridgeport and formerly of Trumbull, died on Friday August 24, 2007 peacefully at home with her family beside her after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Robert James Wright of nearly 50 years. Rose Marie was born in Bridgeport to Anthony and Rose Comparato Aiello. She attended Warren G. Harding High School. After graduation she worked as a dental assistant. One of her many passions which she was able to pursue was being a professional dance instructor. She was a lifelong partner with her husband Robert James Wright with Tobin & Wright Insurance, Wright-Curly Insurance and The Wright Companies, Inc. Rose Marie was a devout Mother and Christian who instilled a strong faith in her children. An avid golfer she was a member at Mill River Country Club where she belonged to the 9-holers. An exceptional cook she enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Her many additional interests include: love of baseball, UCONN Mens and Womens Basketball, the beach, music, animals especially dogs, Pinochle and Bible study. She is survived by a daughter Allison Walton and her husband Craig of Bridgeport and four sons, Robert J. Wright II and his wife Anne of Trumbull, Jeff Wright and his wife Mary Joan of Trumbull, Todd Wright and his girlfriend Randy of San Diego, CA and Scott A. Wright and his wife Beverly of Trumbull. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michael, Kathryn, Sarah, Caroline, Hilary, Ryan and Megan. Rose Marie was predeceased by her brothers Peter Aiello, Alfred Aiello and Anthony Aiello. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Phyllis Aiello of Monroe, Marian Carr of Trumbull, Irene Wright of Fairfield and Shirley Billings of Trap, MD, and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:00AM from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road Trumbull, and at 10AM in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Monday from 3 8 PM.
