Obituary of Otto J. Wuennemann

Otto J. Wuennemann, age 82, of Monroe, beloved husband of Marion Santako Wuennemann, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 29, 1931, he was a son of the late Otto W. and Elizabeth Brown Wuennemann. A Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force, he was also a veteran of the Korean War. He had earned a Bachelors Degree from Sacred Heart University. He was an engineer for the former Southern New England Telephone for 34 years before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and making furniture for his daughter-in-law, watching his grandsons play lacrosse and his weekly breakfast with his SNET Buddies. In addition to his beloved wife of 56 years Marion, other survivors include a son, Kurt Wuennemann and his wife Jody of Southington, his grandsons, Justin and Taylor and his brother-in-law, Roger Santako as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information All services will be held privately with interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
