Obituary of Jennie G. Zarrelli

Resident of Trumbull Jennie Manzi Zarrelli, age 86, of Trumbull and formerly of Westport and Fort Myers Beach, FL, died peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Born in Norwalk on October 6, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Christiano Manzi. Jennie was a dedicated volunteer in the nursery at Lee Memorial Hospital of Fort Myers and for many years a longtime member of the Red Hat Society. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 57 years, Louis J. Zarrelli, her daughter, Maryann Z. Bieling and three brothers, Lawrence Manzi, Salvatore Manzi and twin brother Vincent Manzi. Survivors include a sister, Ann Esposito, a brother, Joseph Manzi, two sons, Louis Chip Zarrelli and his wife Linda of Fairfield and J. Bryan Zarrelli of Trumbull, son-in-law, Don Bieling of Norwalk and daughter-in-law, Pat Zarrelli of Stratford. Nanny was blessed with nine grandchildren, Donald Bieling Jr., Douglas Bieling, Dawn Ely, Allison Rotunno, Marissa Terifay, Casey Daly, Derek Zarrelli, Keith Zarrelli and Cara Quigley, 15 great grandchildren, Emma, David, Christopher, Ellie, Dennis, Riley, Rory, Grady, Isla, Jett, Nash, Kaila, Cosmo, Caden and Bennett. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Westport. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
