Obituary of Nicholas J. Buonanno

Resident of Bridgeport Nicholas J. Buonanno, age 94, of Bridgeport, a retired machinist for American Chain and Cable Co., died on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on December 27, 1915, he was a son of the late Constantino and Angelina Derisola Buonanno. Mr. Buonanno was a skilled upholsterer and an avid gardener. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Veronica Koshi Buonanno, two sons, Gerald Buonanno and his wife Connie of Guilford and Nicholas Buonanno and his wife Beverly of Huntington, two grandchildren, Gerald Buonanno and his wife Tara of Guilford and Christine Buonanno of Huntington. He was pre-deceased by three brothers Carmine, Philip and Constantino and a sister Bridget. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends and relatives may call on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
