Obituary of Carl J. Burdick

Resident of Trumbull, Connecticut Carl Joseph Burdick, age 48, of Trumbull,Connecticut, a mortgage banker, died suddenly on Saturday, August 19, 2006 in Montreal, Canada. Born in Montreal on March 28, 1958, he was a son of Dora Dardano Burdick of Montreal and the late Peter Burdick. He was raised in Montreal and had been a Stratford, Connecticut resident for 10 years before moving to Trumbull last year. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast and coached hockey at the Wonderland of Ice. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 16 years, Maureen Murphy Burdick, three children, Peter, Edward and Mary Grace Burdick, two brothers, James and Paul Burdick and a sister, Linda Carfagnini, all of Montreal. He was pre-deceased by an infant son, Christopher Stephen Murphy Burdick. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday, August 24, 2006 from 4-8 p.m. A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will take place on Monday, October 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 899 Chomedy Blvd., Laval, Canada.
