Obituary of Carol Lynn Butz

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother Carol Lynn Butz, age 66, of Bridgeport, died suddenly on Friday, February 17, 2012 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Jerry T. Butz. Born in Bridgeport on October 11, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Parry Zowidowski Slosar. She was currently employed as a bus aide for W.E. Transportation. An avid bingo player and seasonal camper, she also loved to read. Her greatest enjoyment however, was the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchild. In addition to her beloved husband Jerry, other survivors include her children, Melissa Krebbs and her husband Stephen of Beacon Falls, Tammy Butz-Stevens and her fiance Franklin Cash of Bridgeport, Jerry C. Butz and his wife Dawn of Terryville, brother, Charles P. Slosar, and brothers and sisters-in-law, George W. Butz and wife Helen, David C. Butz and wife Cheryl, Ronald Butz and wife Martha, Judy Bierwirth and husband Donald, John R. Butz and wife Robin, Barbara Butz and Debbie Aubin. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Barthel. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
