Obituary of Briana Kathryn Gilligan Nostrant

Former Shelton Resident Briana Kathryn Gilligan Nostrant, age 24, of Bradley Beach, NJ, wife of David Nostrant, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Born in Jacksonville, NC on May 19, 1988, she had spent most of her young life as a resident of Shelton. She was the beloved daughter of Francis B. and Kathryn (Inserra) Gilligan of White Salmon, WA. Briana graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and was a graphic designer for Lawyer Central. In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include brothers, Francis and his wife Colleen Gilligan and Brianas Goddaughter Charlotte of Sitka, AK, Aidan Gilligan, a sister, Amanda Gilligan, maternal grandparents, Marion Inserra of Westerly, RI and the late Russell Inserra, paternal grandparents, Oliver and Bernadette Gilligan of Wilmington, NC, mother-in-law, Linda Nostrant of Mt. Laurel, NJ, father-in-law, Keith Nostrant and his wife Gosia of Bayonne, NJ, brother-in-law Michael and his wife Rochelle Nostrant of Cherry Hill NJ and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly, Rhode Island. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
