Obituary of Polly Cannizzio

December 19, 2007 Resident of Bridgeport Polly Linkovitch Cannizzio, of Bridgeport, a former employee of General Electric, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Sandisfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Agafia Sherpo Linkovitch. A lifelong Bridgeport area resident, she enjoyed tending to her flower garden and listening to polka music. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael Cannizzio Sr., a son Ralph Cannizzio, a daughter Joan Chaisson and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Cannizzio, two sons Michael Cannizzio Jr. and Joseph Cannizzio, all of Bridgeport, a sister Doris Hryckvich of Sandisfield, MA, her devoted granddaughter, Danielle Cuevas and her husband Benjamin of Savannah, GA, as well as several other grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
