Obituary of Gary M. Capozziello

Gary M. Capozziello, age 64, of Fairfield, owner and operator of Hartford House Wrecking, died on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Veterans Administration Medical Center, West Haven. Born in Bridgeport on August 29, 1944, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mary Riccio Capozziello. A lifelong resident of Fairfield, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Boulay Capozziello, a son Gary A. Capozziello of Fairfield, two daughters Tracy Reinhardt and her husband John of Shelton and Carla Capozziello of Bridgeport, brothers, Alfred, Ken, Thomas, Dennis, Marshall and Matthew Capozziello, Leonard Benton, Russell and Gino Capozziello, a sister, Angela Zilli, three grandchildren, Marisa, Shawn Ellen and John and over 40 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Vincent and Christy Capozziello and a sister Dolores Kistner. 

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Monday from 3-7 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
