Obituary of Ester Z. Cardinale

Resident of Bridgeport Ester Zanchin Cardinale, age 83, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Antonio Cardinale, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Curtarolo Padova, Italy on April 16, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Valentino and Augusta Pomponio Zanchin. A dedicated homemaker, Mrs. Cardinale enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed music and dance. In addition to Antonio her husband of 63 years, survivors include three sons, Paulo Cardinale of Danbury, Gianni John Cardinale and his wife Robyn and Anthony Cardinale and his wife Jennifer, all of Trumbull, eight grandchildren, Lori Swaylik and her husband Kirk, Christie Cardinale, Amy Cardinale and Nick Dube, Joseph Cardinale and his wife Danielle, Matthew Cardinale, Emily Cardinale, Anna Cardinale and Michael Cardinale, seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Hunter and Olivia Swaylik, Christian, William and Jacob Bennett and Paige Dube, two brothers, Titziano and Evo of Italy as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a daughter-in-law, Paula Cardinale, four brothers, Mario, Luigi, Modesto and Lino and three sisters, Carmella, Rita and Maria. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
