Obituary of Rose Carletti
Loving Sister & Aunt
Rose Bevilacqua Carletti, age 107, died peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2009. Rose was born in Italy on April 13, 1902 to the late Frank and Giovanna Carbone Bevilacqua and came to the United States as a young girl. She lived most of her life in Bridgeport and her later years in Trumbull. Rose was a babysitter, dog sitter, house sitter, and loving caregiver to her siblings, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was a great cook and the matriarch of the family. She was truly a gentle, giving, unselfish woman and will be missed by all who loved her. She was predeceased her beloved husband Guido Carletti, two brothers, Americo and Peter Bevilacqua and a sister Palmina Diotalevi. Survivors include her loving sister Natalie Tavella of Shelton as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff on 2B at Hewitt Memorial Hospital for the care and love they extended to Rose. Funeral Information
Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Rd., Shelton on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. Donations Information
