Obituary of Eleanora Carpenter

Eleanora Bonazzo Carpenter, age 82, of Trumbull, died on Monday, September 10, 2007 at her residence. Born on October 23, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Anthony H. and Jennie DiMenno Bonazzo. A graduate of Harding High School class of 1942, Mrs. Carpenter was a co-owner of Bridgeport Plating Co. Inc. and Bridgeport Plastics Co. Inc., a Bridgeport industry for over 50 years. Before her retirement, she was proud to assist her son, Mark in operating, MTJ Manufacturing Inc., MTJ Truck Equipment Inc. and E & M Real Estate Inc. She was pre-deceased by her husband Norbon Oscar Carpenter and a brother Joseph A. Bonazzo. Survivors include her son Mark N. Carpenter Sr. and his wife Vanessa of Trumbull, a sister Dorothy Bonazzo Grabowski and her husband John of Trumbull, a brother, Robert E. Bonazzo and his wife Lee of Trumbull, sister-in-law Sophia Bonazzo of Trumbull, three grandchildren, Mark N. Carpenter Jr., Taylor L. Carpenter and Jillian R. Carpenter, all of Trumbull and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
