Obituary of Rita Caserta

September 11, 2007 Rita Veckerelli Caserta, of Stratford, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at her residence. Born and raised in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Constantino and Lucy Carillo Veckerelli, and was a graduate of Central High School and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Mill River Country Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor G. Caserta. Survivors include her son, Dr. Robert Caserta and his wife Sue of Fairfield, a sister, Lillian Lewis of Milford, three grandchildren, Christine Toeplitz and her husband Christopher of Hoboken, NJ, Lisa Caserta of Manhattan and Kimberly Caserta of Fairfield as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends can meet directly on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 851 North Avenue, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment services will be at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours.
