Obituary of Therese Patricia Golas Garrity

Therese Patricia (Terri) Golas Garrity, age 34, of Trumbull, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Meriden on December 31, 1969, she was the daughter of Edward Golas of Meriden and the late Patricia Germain Golas. Therese was a graduate of Orville Platt High School of Meriden and Bullard Havens School of Nursing. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Frederick T. Garrity, Jr, two cherished children, Frederick T. Garrity, III and Christina E. Garrity, all of Trumbull, two sisters, Felicia Felix of Wallingford and Betty McGinn and her husband, Bill of Southington, a brother, Paul Felix and his wife, Tina of Maine, her mother-in-law, Barbara B. Garrity of Trumbull and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and friends. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to an education fund to be established for the benefit of the children through the funeral home.
