Obituary of Mary Clarizio

Trumbull Resident Mary (Clementine) Clarizio, age 99, of Trumbull, died on Friday, December 26, 2008 at St. Joseph Manor. Born in Casoria, Naples, Italy on November 4, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Raffaela Nasti Bocchino, and was the last survivor of her seven siblings. Mrs. Clarizio worked as a waitress at 3030 Park for many years before her retirement, and had been a resident of the Bridgeport and Trumbull area for 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Michele Clarizio. Survivors include her two sons, Deacon Salvatore M. Clarizio and his wife Agnes of Trumbull and Anthony V. Clarizio of Norwich, eight grandchildren, Joseph Clarizio, Paul Clarizio, Kathleen Hevevstone, Salvatore Clarizio Jr., Keren Clarizio, Teresa Avery, Michael Clarizio and Anthony Clarizio Jr., twelve great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews from both the U.S. and Italy. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Chapel Mausoleum, Stratford.
