Obituary of Dominic J. Angelo
Dominic J. Angelo, age 79, of Bridgeport, a retired supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Waterbury, he was a son of the late Paul and Concetta Angelo. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart Recipient. Mr. Angleo was an avid golfer and volunteered at St. Margaret Shrine.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Florence Ruggiero Angelo, a son, Michael Angelo and his wife, Judy of Stratford, two grandchildren who were the apples of his eye, Jordan and Annaliese Rose, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at a time to be announced from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and in St. Margaret Shrine Chapel, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with full military honors will follow in St. Michael Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
